I live in Eastern North Carolina and with my wife and son. I got into the series while scrolling through Kindle Unlimited one night and spent the next two months not sleeping so I could read what came next! Since finishing the Frith Chronicle, I have read everything I could from the Arcanist Universe and have expanded to Shami Stovall's other works. I also enjoy J.R.R Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, James Dasher and Robin Hobb to name a few.

Scott is a co-host of the Frith Guild Podcast and a lover of mythical creatures (the not so scary ones at least). When he is not attempting to find his own elderin, Scott spends his time diving into other fantasy novels and playing basketball.

Volke manages to save the children and the griffin cub and gets them back to West Landin in time for the Trial of Worth Ceremony. Volke goes and takes a dip in a lucky spring but what happens afterwards is leaving Volke unsure if the spring really does bring him luck. Almost immediately he runs into a pirate arcanist and gets a pretty nasty bite from his eldrin.

We continue to get more clues on who Luthair's murderer is along with getting to be on board the famous ship "High Riser".
